Most people who suffer from cellulite have tried many different treatments. Women have been known to resort to things as strange as wrapping themselves entirely in plastic cling film and olive oil to rid their bottoms and thighs of ugly cellulite dimples. They have also made many plastic surgeons rich with their demands for liposuction to take their cellulite away. Is there a better and less invasive way to reduce the appearance of cellulite? Believe it or not, you can use essential oils for cellulite reduction to some pretty amazing results.
A Time-Tested Treatment
Using essential oils for cellulite treatment is not a new idea. Companies who sell cellulite treatments have been using essential oils for years. The types of essential oils for cellulite treatment vary depending on what company is selling the treatment, but they typically include any oils that will make the skin plumper and more moisturized, softer, and tauter.Essential oils for cellulite treatment may include juniper, clary sage, grapefruit, black pepper, ginger, lemon, orange, fennel, tangerine and cypress. In addition, common oils such as olive oil can help to nourish and smooth the skin.
You can use essential oils for cellulite in the same way that you would use a massage oil or a lotion. The massaging action may even help to stimulate the skin and surrounding cells when you are rubbing it into your problem areas, so you can provide a double dose of treatment.
If you would like to take the massage effect one step further, you can even purchase wooden massagers that fit over your hand. When you are applying your essential oils for cellulite treatment, use the massager to work the oils into your skin. The massaging motions and pressure from the massager can help the skin renew itself and become plumper and smoother.
You can also use a body brush before or during your application of essential oils for cellulite treatment. The body brush helps your skin to slough off its old outer layer so that it can bring out the newer, fresher cells and appear younger and more nourished. This can reduce the appearance of cellulite temporarily, and it has the added benefit of making your skin positively glow. While there is no cure for cellulite, using essential oils for cellulite can help to reduce the appearance of the unsightly bumps and lumps that we all hate. You may even find yourself in awe of your extremely soft and supple skin after using essential oils for cellulite treatment.
Is There an Effective Cellulite Treatment?

Cellulite is fat deposits held in pockets just below the skin. The “cottage cheese” that women love to hate on their bodies is normally located on the backside and thighs. Cellulite is that horrible fate that will, unfortunately, happen to the majority of women at sometime in their life. Cellulite is very unattractive, and trying to find an effective cellulite treatment to combat the problem is an ongoing process. There are hundreds of doctors who claim they have the number one effective cellulite treatment above all others. But can cellulite be eliminated from our bodies? Is there really an effective cellulite treatment in the world today?
The Many Remedies
No one is really cellulite free. We all have a certain amount of cellulite below our skin, although some of us have more than others. It is because cellulite is so close to the skin’s surface that it causes problems for most of us. Is there really an effective cellulite treatment to combat this dreaded problem? It seems that exercise is probably the number one effective cellulite treatment. Toning the legs and glutes is one the most sensible and quite possibly the only effective treatment for cellulite that every woman has today. A cardio routine several times a week will show definite results in ridding her body of cellulite.
The next effective treatment for cellulite is liposuction or roller techniques. These are surgical techniques that can be quite painful and costly, and are not a viable option for the everyday woman who suffers from the dreaded cellulite condition. Next in line, we have the many topical creams, lotions and potions. While some of these creams produce results, they are very minimal and can sometimes only be seen by the cellulite sufferer. The majority of these creams cannot actually penetrate the skin layer where much of the damage occurs. These supposedly effective cellulite treatments are unsuccessful because they only target the outside appearance, or the top layer of skin. They cannot completely fight the damage where it actually lives.
The cosmetic industry has gotten on the bandwagon and is working towards finding a potion that is an alternative to surgical methods. Some of these companies are making some headway with their products, but it is a challenge to wade through all of the advertisements to find an effective treatment for cellulite. If the cream you choose states that is will shrink your cellulite molecules and help you to burn fat quickly, then you are on the right track. There are fewer side effects with topical creams, they are painless and the price is less then surgery. But doing your homework is the real objective when looking for an effective cellulite treatment cream. Do all of these remedies really work? If you suffer from the cottage cheese and want to eliminate it, then try one of these treatments and judge for yourself.
Finding and Using the Most Effective Cellulite Treatments

Some women would do almost anything to get rid of their cellulite. The lumpy, bumpy appearance of our thighs and bottoms can really get to some of us, prompting us to spend exorbitant amounts of money on treatments that just don’t work.
The harsh truth is that there is no permanent cure for cellulite. Once the fat cells are there, they are there for good. Even liposuction is not a permanent treatment. There are, however, a number of effective cellulite treatments that can provide short-term relief and reduction in the appearance of cellulite.
Common Sense Treatments
While the most effective cellulite treatments are known as common sense treatments, many of us just don’t know about them. That’s probably because we’ve learned to believe the commercials that tell us the only way to beat cellulite is to buy a $200 bottle of some type of cream, or to keep using bottles of $10 cream every day for the rest of our lives. The fact is that the most effective cellulite treatments don’t require much of a monetary investment at all.
Are you dying to know what they are? Well, it turns out that the most effective cellulite treatments are a well-balanced diet, proper hydration, and exercise. Don’t be disappointed, though – even if you’ve tried these methods before, you may be surprised at the reasons they are so effective.
A well-balanced diet can remove toxins from your body that are causing you to hold on to fat. This is something that not even the most effective cellulite treatments in the stores can do. Restoring the balance of nutrients in your body can work wonders for reducing the appearance of your cellulite trouble spots.
Likewise, proper hydration earns its spot among the most effective cellulite treatments because it rids the body of excess toxins and other nasty substances that increase the appearance of cellulite. By removing these toxins, your body can focus on nourishing your skin again, something that it will neglect if it is constantly fighting off nasty substances.
Finally, exercise may be the best of the most effective cellulite treatments. Cardio exercise helps to reduce your overall fat content, while strength training tones and tightens your body, making it firmer all over and reducing the effect of cellulite on your appearance.
These effective cellulite treatments will cost you basically nothing, yet they will work better than nearly any of the treatments you can buy for the same purpose. Give them a try for a few months, and you’ll see that the most effective cellulite treatments are the ones that won’t cost you an arm and a leg.
Cellulite Eliminated: Banished To the Abyss

Cellulite has probably been a thorn in every woman’s side (and thighs) since lovely Aphrodite first spotted that bumpy stuff on her celestial derriere. Poor goddess. Then again, she was probably able to zap it away with a wave of her hand. Hades had no fury like a deity with thighs like look a small bombing range. Mount Olympus could breathe a sigh of relief. Who wants to deal with a grumpy goddess anyway?
All other mortal women were not so divinely blessed. Natural, home-made remedies were more than likely used in attempts to eliminate cellulite. Did it work? There really is no way to tell, and history books seem to have left out the sections on cellulite in the Middle Ages. Maybe there was a reason for the long dresses and heavy fabrics; Queen Elizabeth did not want to chance a wayward gust of wind to reveal her own royal dimples. Obviously the Greeks and Romans did not care so much, with their togas. What a tale those wives must have spun to explain.
Bad, Bad Cellulite Brown (Or Orange)
Certain plants and fruits, like green papaya, pineapple, and green tean have extracts that can help eliminate cellulite. Ginkgo biloba and sweet clover are also quite popular in many cellulite elimination products. You can usually find these in pill and cream form. Health food stores would be the best place to look. You can usually order them online, and sometimes for a reduced price. Read thoroughly through any reviews or customer comments about the product.
If you are opting for a natural way to reduce and/or eliminate cellulite, many physicians and health experts suggest changes in your diet and daily routine can have very effective results. Muscle toning exercises are best, along with a cardio work out. If you are time strapped, trying going for a walk around your neighborhood. You can also add more water to your fluid intake. Don’t worry; you are not going to float away.
There are also cosmetic surgical and laser procedures that is heralded to be able to eliminate cellulite and make you smoother than an Austin Powers pick-up line. Without the teeth, and mojo not included. As with any kind of surgery, there are possible risks involved. Make an appointment with your general practitioner to discuss all options, and ask for a referral to a reputable dermatologist.
Eliminating Cellulite with Diet, Exercise and Diligence

Do you hate the thought of having to have plastic surgery for something so commonly found in women as cellulite? Do you wonder why it is that no one seems to know what causes cellulite, but everyone seems to have a cure-all solution for it? Are you sick and tired of all of the hype and just want a solid regimen to follow to help you in your struggle with eliminating cellulite in your body at its source? Well, there is evidence that suggests that with attention to diet, exercise and a dose of diligence, you can rid yourself of that dreaded orange-peel skin forever.
Eliminating Cellulite
There is no researcher, doctor or plastic surgeon who can tell you what causes cellulite with any degree of certainty. What is known for certain is that it is a result of diagonal fibrous tissues that pull down on the skin as fatty tissue causes other areas to expand. There are surgeries, like liposuction, that can effectively eliminate cellulite. However, if the whole body is not treated, then the cellulite can return.
To effectively eliminate cellulite then, it is important to watch your diet and get into the habit of routine exercise and stretching. Including lots of protein and juices in your menu, like cranberry juice, along with wheat grass and lots of water go a long way toward helping you say goodbye to that dimply cellulite you hate so much. Along with this, add stretching routines to your morning and evening activities. Then add a few additional exercises, like lunges and squats, to your regimen and watch the dimples puff out and disappear.
Of course, this is not a cure for cellulite at all, so it may be necessary to also add a good anti-cellulite cream, like Revitol, that combines natural and formulated ingredients to help you successfully eliminate cellulite from your thighs, buttocks and abdomen. Other natural treatments include Ionithermie, which combines electricity, clay and essential oils to help reduce fatty tissue and thereby eliminate cellulite.
Eliminating cellulite is not easy, but certainly worth the effort. Consider the fact that when you eat right and exercise, it is not simply going to just affect the cellulite you hate. It will, in fact, help to create an all-around healthier life by giving you stronger muscles to support your bone structures, as well as promoting good digestion and food absorption. So, the next time you think of eliminating cellulite, think also of all of the additional benefits that you will obtain for doing so.
